ORIGIN Mutation of Golden Delicious discovered in 1986 in South Tyrol.

Vigour: medium to strong. Blossom: middle to late, good pollen quality. Pollination: Granny Smith, Red Delicious, Evereste, Prof. Sprenger.
FRUIT
Colour: green – yellow, completely yellow at maturity with pronounced red blush. Flavour: sweet-acid, lightly aromatic. Shape/size: long – conical, middle to large. Skin: thin, smooth, with good visible lenticels. Fruit flesh: yellowish, firm, crispy and juicy.
CHARACTERISTICS
The colour of ripe fruits is yellow with well pronounced red blush. The lenticels are very pronounced and well distributed (very typical Golden Del.). Susceptibility to russet is like Golden Delicious clone B. Sugar and acid content are higher, fruit flesh is firmer than on Golden Delicious clone B.
