'ready for new market challenge'

A guideline for the participation of Civi Italia at Fruit Logistica 2012 in Berlin was to promote the activities by the Italian nurseries and their qualified and certified productions. The italian system for the voluntary certification of plant propagative material, coordinated by Ministero delle Politiche Agricole e Forestali (MiPAF), with the active participation of the Phytosanitary Service of each Region, recognizes an important role to the interprofessional organization between nurserymen and growers. Civi Italia supports MiPaF and other institutions to promote the Italian certification system and to extend the participation of the national certification programme to a higher number of nurseries.

During a welcome drink between members of Civi Italia and national delegations of stakeholders, EU, Turkey, South Africa and Lebanon, the association of UNAPROA and UIAPOA, and organizations category of the prestigious International Organization AREFLH was discussed the important role played by the Civi Italia for the qualified and certified production of propagative material.
